APC UPS Powerchute Install

Hello,

I think I remember this question being asked before, but here it goes....

I just tried to install the latest version of the Powrchute software for Linux
on an e-smith 4.1.1 box. The install fails looking for the library
libstdc++.so.2.8. I know there is a newer version installed, and trying to
install an older RPM of course fails. Any workaround for this?
