4.1b2 and a dialup server & gateway. Cable and DSL slooowly rolling out in the
UK but not in my area yet :-(
Send an email and qmail/diald brings the link up immediately. I guess this is
because of a DNS lookup. Is there a recommended way to defer sending mail until
the link is brought up at the scheduled time as set in the Email Retrieval web
panel?
Some methods I found suggested were:
* Set the qmail concurrencyremote to 0 while offline and back to 4 while online.
* Patch qmail-send with the qmail-hold patch which adds a 'holdremote'
parameter.
* Use serailmail
Anyone have experience with any of these?
