Hi All,
        I have had Success with the Webgear/Raylink 2mb wireless NICs under
e-smith with basicly no work to get it going. On my test box P133 i
installed a pcmcia adapter (ISA <..> PCMCIA) and booted the box with the
raylink wireless card in it.

I made /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth2

DEVICE=eth2
USERCTL=no
ONBOOT=yes
BOOTPROTO=none
IPADDR=192.168.2.1
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
NETWORK=192.168.2.0
BROADCAST=192.168.2.255

changed /etc/pcmcia/config.opts

module "ray_cs" opts "essid=wisp hop_dwell=128 beacon_period=256
translate=0"

and service pcmcia start... beep, beeps and e-smith goes wireless.

I know that i have not made up templates for
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth2 and this setup will be removed
after a reconfig or upgrade. Just a test

Getting to my point...
If the raylink and webgear wireless NICs work under e-smith so why not add
the two NICs to the supported hardware list ?
