I just installed it and the only thing it was asking for that wasn't on my
system (I installed expat etc. for the 4.0.5 version) was libmm.so.1,
which you can get from rpmfind.net.

IMP now produces some warnings about it using database calls that have
been substituted, but if you turn off on-screen error reporting in PHP.INI
and turn on log-file reporting, you shouldn't see these errors again
unless you want to.

        Subject: [e-smith-devinfo] PHP upgrade RPMs

I just received notification that Troels Arvin (the
maintainer of the
PHP RPMs that I link to in my HOWTO) has posted RPMs of PHP 4.0.6. This
will almost certainly break the links in my HOWTO. I'll try to get it
updated over the weekend. In the meantime, if you want to check out the
new version, you can get it from http://rpms.arvin.dk/php directly.
