The question we need to ask here is whether this is a change that we want
to make for everyone, for all the time? Will people ever want to view the
timestamps in wallclock format, or only as Dan intended us to?
It's certainly a reasonable request and one for us to consider. The next
question is, how many special cases do we consider?
