This is a technical support question and not appropriate for this list. It _may_ be possible to recover _some_ of the data, but you should seek the help of a professional disk recovery service, before doing _anything_ further with that disk. The installation screens and the manual clearly state that data will be lost during an install (but not an upgrade). This is why the installer explictly asks you to type the words "accept" and "proceed". Here is one of the many references in the manual: http://www.e-smith.org/docs/manual/5.0/installingsoft.html Gordon -- Gordon Rowell [EMAIL PROTECTED] VP Engineering Network Server Solutions Group http://www.e-smith.com Mitel Networks Corporation http://www.mitel.com -- Please report bugs to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] (only) to discuss security issues Support for registered customers and partners to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives by mail and http://www.mail-archive.com/devinfo%40lists.e-smith.org
