I think it was called minor to smooth over the major screw-up on the part of the Samba Team. Saying that it is a major bug (which it was) would have been about like walking into a crowded theater and yelling "BOMB!!" on Samba's site any longer and the Samba Team leader was called in from a convention in Australia to fix the problem and put out what they termed as a "brown bag release." Seeing as the Samba 2.2.3 RPMs never made it past devinfo, folks using them on a production server do so at their own risk I guess. Regards, -- Greg J. Zartman, P.E.
