Well, that's what should have applied. But I left out a %patch line in the 
spec file, so one of the patches wasn't being applied, resulting in 
warnings when you expanded the template file, and no i-bays being offered 
for public rsync. I've added the missing patch line and released 
e-smith-rsyncd-0.0.1-03.noarch.rpm.

It has also been pointed out (quite rightly) that there is a security
advisory out against the version of rsync distributed with SME 5.1.2. I've
added a Requires: header to the updated RPM, so that it will only install
if you have the latest rsync update from RedHat installed (the update is
also available in my contrib directory).
