Hi,

I'd like to know if anyone has ever carried this out, and if there are any
"gotcha's". We have a server with primary domain of domain1.co.uk and
several virtual domains. This was originally used only for internal email,
but this site now has direct Internet access.

As far as I can see all I have to do is delete the virtual domain I want to
become the primary domain (domain2), run setup and alter the primary domain
to domain2.co.uk and then recreate domain1.co.uk as a virtual domain. Back
in the days of V4 I seem to recall warnings about not changing the primary
domain once it was set, but then again perhaps senility is creeping in :-)

This has all arisen because we will want to set unknown messages to bounce,
but the bounce message comes from the primary domain which is currently a
purely internal domain that isn't registered.

Any comments before I break a perfectly good server?

Thanks
