Thanks Stefano.

You reminded me of a patch that Darrell May had submitted some time
ago to that program. I've now encorporated both of your supplied patches
into a new version of the e-smith-service-control rpm:

e-smith-service-control-1.1.0-04.noarch.rpm

Both binary and source rpms should be appearing soonish on the
contrib section of the .org site

The usual caveats apply. I've only tested on a 5.5alpha system at
this stage. I'm hoping I'll get a chance to check it out on 5.1.2, 5.0,
and 4.1.2 systems later this week or on the weekend. I did notice that it
caused some troubles on my own 5.0 box at home, but I was unable to
determine whether that was because of the rpm or because of all the hacks
done to the box itself ...

Thanks again to Darrell May and Stefano Zamboni for reporting the
errors and supplying patches.

        Regards,

        Jay
