Thanks for all your responses so far. I put out an updated version yesterday: e-smith-lib-compspec-0.1.1-01.noarch.rpm The only change is that I removed the %post script, which was failing - I had never actually tested it :)
The package still works with the old version, despite the warning you get during the install.
