The "requesting overhead" is not bandwidth overhead, it is time overhead.
If you do simultaneous requests, you get everything faster. If you would
like to see proof, use GetFiles to retrieve a site with simRequests=1 and
10.

This is the behaviour that you want for web sites. You want the entire
HTML of the web site + images to all stay in one clump of equal
populiarty. That way you don't have broken images or links within the
site. It is much less terrible to have movies you link to drop out than to
have sections of your site drop out.
