I think you (Gianni) mention that with maxRoutingSteps set fairly high,
then my node might use the 50th best node for routing if the other 49
are not available (for whatever reason).  Is this really a bad thing,
if the network is heavily overloaded?

If it's set to 10, then only 10 "good nodes" get hit for routing, and
in my experience, during an insert they get hit over and over until one
of them finally gives in and accepts the insert.  Doesn't this just
increase the load on the already overloaded "good nodes"?  How will
this help?

Am I missing something obvious about how Freenet routing is supposed
to work?  Once I finish inserting the data I'm trying to get into
freenet now, I'll switch back to my old non-transient 468-based node
with mongo data-store (900 MB)
(so any references that I might have sent ian will start working
again in the near future :-), and maybe even a few routes)
