So if there were less requests for data that the receiving node doesn't have (in other words, more specialization), you use less bandwidth, and an awful lot less processor, and overload decreeases everywhere... that's why any trick to "fix" specialization (which we haven't seen a lot of recently) is hoped to improve network performance, BUT they tend to have wacky effects in the short-term. :)
