I decided to try unstable CVS today, and noticed a couple odd things in the
build process. First, javac is called just a few times, each time for a lot
of files; if it were called once per file, then it would speed up rebuilding
after an update. Also, I noticed it didn't use -O; I assume this is
intentional, but why?
