Freenet stable build 5002 is now available. Update using the update.sh
utility. AFAICT, sf anon CVS is still ~24 hours behind the developer
version, so that may not work. A source tarball is available on Freenet
from

Major changes:
* Fixed a CSS filtering bug that was deleting all strings except if
paranoid string filter mode was enabled (and they passed the paranoid
filter). Thanks [EMAIL PROTECTED] for finding it.
* Alignment fix on the Web Interface page
* Minor code changes all over to protect us from possible effects of
wait() never returning if the JVM loses a notify() (yes, this happens,
  at least on Redhat 9).
* Added a note to the README: RedHat 9 gets wierd crashes, probably an
interaction between Sun 1.4 and NPTL.

Unfortunately, there are probably a lot of RedHat 9 users. We can
a) Wait for RedHat and Sun to get their act together,
b) Fix Kaffe,
c) Expect users to downgrade or switch distro, or
d) Lose any chance of RH9 users running freenet for now.

It _will_ hopefully get fixed at some point, as it makes the JDK
essentially useless on RH9.0 for anything nontrivial... unfortunately,
RH9.0 probably represents a significant fraction of our potential
userbase, Freenet being a geek tool rather than a mainstream copyright
violation tool.
