I guess you tried to upgrade to the latest snapshot. Easyfreenet 0.5.2 comes with Fred build 598, which is to the best of my knowledge the most recent build known to run under Kaffe 1.0.7 without major problems. Getting more recent builds to work with Kaffe (1.0.7 as well as 1.1.0) is a total PITA, as you probably know. Best, Gianni.
