Richard,

If you switched an established node from the 'old' net to the 'stable' net
without changing port or ip 5046 will unfortunately do nothing but QR. Your
node will get a lot of requests from 'unstable' nodes (all of which it QR:s)
and since it gets a lot of requests it wont announce (to its new, stable,
friends), thereby becoming worthless.

Code to fix this is in cvs but until a new version is published you have to
move your node to another port to make it announce itself.
