My mistake. But look at question b. Which files belong where? How can i
migrate an existing node to a new directory structure?

1 test i just made:

- started the node.
- changed both settings, hit apply (or however the button is called).
- observation: Old files exist, new files do not exist.
- i restarted the node. The old settings are shown in the configuration
page.
