I agree. But people are lazy, and I would like to offer the service for them 
which they have been used to from toad.

I would rather have some cancelled for simplicity. Especially the WOT mailing 
list if I am still subscribed to it - have not received any mails from it in 
ages.
The original reason of introducing it was that we still had a bot which posted 
ALL commits to the devl mailing list back then, so someone wanted to outsource 
the commit spam of WOT to a list. The commit bot is gone with SVN.

Well, if you don't plan to do it, you might just set up a shell for me and let 
me configure it on my own.
But you should still do the job of installing it from the package manager so 
it gets auto-updates for security.

I am not informed which bouncer is the most reliable and secure - Matthew can 
you tell?
