Its a currency, not a commodity.

- If people donate in Bitcoin, it is safe to assume that they do so because
they like Bitcoin in general and trust it. We shouldn't mess with their
decision by converting to USD unless we need USD.
- I was always being paid in Bitcoin and I would like to continue to be paid
in Bitcoin, so there is a use for them.
- Bitcoin is a project with very similar goals to Freenet: Freedom. Good idea
to support it by keeping donated Bitcoin as Bitcoin
- If you look at the general status of the project, it is totally freaking
awesome: The Bitcoin Reddit has over 110 000 users. Major news channels report
on Bitcoin events. Even though the MtGox failure is a major event, there is no
major selloff or price drop.

In conclusion, here is my vote: Please do not convert the coins to dollars or
anything else unless we need to pay something in dollars.
