One important adjustment you should make to the node for that is to add
your repository to the bookmarks with an activelink[1]. Then the node
will check for updates automatically and you could even check the alerts
to see whether there’s an update. You can also trigger a search for the
most recent revision by accessing a negative revision of the site before
you start the update (this will take about 30s).
