That would probably require the author to be recognized by all the server instances - so it would mean that a centralized authentication system would have to be used (e.g. a canonical list of PGP public keys). If no changes to existing objects are allowed and the default behaviour of requests is to return the last object created with the specified key (and perhaps signed with a particular PGP key, where the public key is included in the request by the client), "supersedes" of objects happen automatically (the newer objects become more popular, eventually the old ones die). -mjy -- ***==> Marinos J.
