   I agree with you on this, but I think we should probably 
implement it in terms of a much broader system of trust.  This goes
back to my comment about the DataSource header the other day -- that
I don't know if it's the right way to deal with the problem.

   Ideally, any two nodes would have to be "introduced" before they
could talk to each other directly, and each node would maintain a 
list of trusted introducers and one of nodes it would introduce to
others.  A node might accept incoming connections from unknown nodes,
but mightn't initiate connections to them.

   The obvious problem with this method is that new pathways between
nodes don't grow as quickly as they would otherwise.  This shouldn't
be a problem in a "mature" Freenet, but could be quite a large one in
a younger network.
