I think it is time to bless those not prepared to download the JDK with
the improvements we have made so far, and over the next few days. What
seemed to work well last time was a feature freeze (ie. no significant
new features - just bug fixes for existing functionality) from Friday
the 28th leaving the weekend to tidy up current functionality. This
means that if anyone has a nifty new feature that they would like to get
into the new release - they must check it into CVS on or before this
Friday. We can then spend Saturday and Sunday playing with the node and
looking for undesirable errors or exceptions being thrown.

Sound reasonable?

Ian.

PS. You will notice that it is "0.2" rather than "0.2beta" - I don't
actually think the "beta" added much to the last version, the fact that
the version number is below 1.0 should make it clear that these are not
feature-complete releases.
