I finally got around to adding insert support to fproxy. so you can now use
it for all your client needs. (although it's a little slow for large files).

A demo is currently available from the keyindex page (visit
http://longitude.doc.ic.ac.uk/keyindex and follow the "Insert a document
into Freenet" link). Depending on your browser, you should get a button
where you can browse locally for a file to insert, or you can type the path
yourself. If you select one or both key indexes, it will automatically
submit the key as well.

To run it yourself, grab the updated version from CVS -- make sure you also
get mumail/ tree under contrib/fproxy/. You will see a file called
gateway.html, which is a local version of the demo page. Load this into
your web browser, start fproxy and your Freenet node, and away you go. (If
you run it on a port other than 8080, you will need to edit gateway.html
where indicated.)

enjoy-
