Well, Scott said to always cache the data (and do thats what went in the doc).

I like pdf.
* Everything in 1 file
* No stupid pidding about to get it right in all the different types of 
browsers* You get the same fonts everywhere
* text looks much nicer as long as you have a kerning-aa renderer (acroread
  does)
* If you're in console mode just use pdftotext
