There is no real full specification in existance, but you can find out
the protocol by examining the unfinished 0.2 specification on the
website and by looking at clients such as Liberator and freenetlib (a
Python module written by myself) and the standard Java Freenet node.
Anyways, there is already a project to write a Freenet node in C++
called Whiterose. Of course, alternate implementations of Freenet
would be appreciated. Anyways, it would probably be best to wait a
little while because Freenet 0.3 will soon be released.
