Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but I couldn't see any other relevant comments.
A proposal for integration of Freenet into Mozilla has been posted on Freshmeat at the following URL. http://freshmeat.net/news/2000/07/29/964929599.html A project has been set up around this currently residing at http://enzyme.sourceforge.net/WFW/. Essentially their idea is to use Freenet as a backup for the WWW. It is a good idea, but the only problem I can see is people inserting a fake "http://www.microsoft.com/" into the system (subspaces may help to address this).
