Boy would this ever be useful.

What I really want, though, is a Freenet Visualizer where participating
nodes could send their real, actual statistics to something which looks
just like the simulator. That way we can test ideas and also find problems
in a real, actual network being used by real people for real purposes.

I would be utterly thrilled if you were to break up the simulator into a
visualizer and then a timestep module for generating data to
visualize. Then I could put together an interface between the node and the
vizualizer.

I was working on a project like this before, but I don't have your mad GUI
skills.
