The current CVS server doesn't use any of those classes, afaik. That said, those classes need to be deprecated and we need to work on implementing the correct cipher hooks, something along the lines (or exactly like) Oskar's Protocol abstraction. Unfortunately, I'm still not quite comfortable mucking around in the guts of the server yet.
