And what do governments have to do with IP6? The U.S. govt, probably others. Although I am no security expert, I believe the current status quo is that you have to register your strong encryption source code with a govenment agency before you can export it. Using a premade package that every govt wants to use already, i.e., IPv6 makes this somebody else's headache and removes one reason for scrutinizing freenet servers.
