This is why in my proposal, the data would be inserted in five different
directions (one to the epicentre of A, one to the epicentre of B etc.)

And a search for the keywords A, B, C, D, E would be turned by the
client into five parallel searches. One routed to A, one to B, etc, but
the entire search request would be included with each of the pfive
arallel ones, to allow nodes to only send back results matching the
original request (instead of returning useless results with only keyword
A but not the others)

Doing it in parallel increases the number of searches, but each search
should find results much more quickly than if we only route in one
direction.
