Ah, so sorry. Fortunately, I didn't actually break the build. The things I inserted were broken, but it only broke itself. I removed the regexp support since it was just for my experimental searching and we're probably not going to allow searching by regexp anyway due to the fact that that would require unhashed keys for the metadata which would mean that metadata will cluster together based on its unhashed key, which is bad.
