sounds good to insert medatas in the Redirect file ... of course, there is to choose the format
i saw header metadatas where in stored in pairs key-values .... don't you think an XML based format, such as Dublin Core, would we more efficient for requests(integrated XML parsers like Xerces) and validation (official DTD) ...? but this could make the files bigger ... by the way, do you have any doc about Redirect files ?
