Even a single copy of every document will fill up the network eventually -
unless storage capacities grow faster than the amount of data ever (!)
inserted into Freenet (including files that are updated daily). That's
highly unlikely.

that node goes down?

No, Freenet just isn't the right place for that. (I also think I recall that
this question has been discussed at length on this list.)

The question of file formats is regulated automatically by the entirety of
users and publishers. If you offer a file in a format nobody likes, the file
will eventually disappear. (As a side note, this wouldn't happen if Freenet
