I was wondering if someone knew an easier way of creating a system tray icon than the assembly (!!) implementation Freenet has. I need a tray icon for my own program (FreeSearch) because no one seems to be willing to deal with two windows on their desktops. I say "minimize!" but no one listens. I didn't even know that napster minimizes to a tray icon, and people expect taht behavior as default.
So can anyone point me to a way of creating a tray icon that basically launches a java program when needed? owen _______________________________________________ Devl mailing list Devl at freenetproject.org http://lists.freenetproject.org/mailman/listinfo/devl >From - Wed Apr 25 20:22:02 2001 Return-Path: <devl-admin at freenetproject.org> Received: from hawk.freenetproject.org (postfix@[4.18.42.11]) by funky.danky.com (8.9.3/8.8.7) with ESMTP id SAA13091 for <danello at danky.com>; Wed, 25 Apr 2001 18:55:18 -0400 Received: from hawk.freenetproject.org (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by hawk.freenetproject.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id E8FA658071; Wed, 25 Apr 2001 16:36:10 -0700 (PDT) Delivered-To: devl at freenetproject.org
