Actually, this is my curent freenet project; writing a FCP<->FCP+ proxy.
The proxy will take normal FCP (as well as some other minor additions)
and will talk FCP to the node, handling all the details of redirects,
splitfiles, and MSKs (which don't exist anymore, but the concept of which
exists in the current metadata spec).
Hopefully in writing this, I'll also end up with a Perl library for
doing all these things over FCP.  If anyone wants more info, or wants to
help, I'll be glad to share the code (and the work).
