I think that we should think about some software design practices which we could implement with respect to code testing for the 0.4 release.
These would include test harnesses for classes and stuff like that. Ideally we would be able to run the node with a parameter -selftest xx where xx was the class to be tested, or if nothing is given all classes should be tested. If we agreed to do this, we would need someone to take responsibility for ensuring that everything was well tested.
