I've been waiting for this: www.ipbbooks.com after downloading several ebook readers such as adobe acrobat's crystal reader (and its sequel) and microsoft's reader with its blurry print and restrictive interface, I was liberated by discovering that someone has figured out a much much better way to do it. (It is also an open source non proprietary effort amateur? that beats all the professional ones I've seen anyway. The books are a sequence of http pages accessible with your browser. A typical file is a zipped 750KB So far I have gotten a couple good Stephen King and Heinlein books they can be found on napigator and napster servers (maybe they will now face a whole new set of litigants : (! or : )?... under wrapster a way of trading other types of files "cloaked" as mp3's www.surfland.biz.com
