Well, I have had mixed results which I am not exactly sure how to interpret. I haven't not tried gj's patch yet. That's to come. With Chris's patch it seems that a failed request gets cleaned up if I'm using fproxy stand alone. I still get left over processes with fproxy though if I'm going through the freenet server. Go figure. I am currently sitting at 14 java Freenet.node.Node processes and 8 java Frrnet.contrib.fproxy.ProxyServer. The node processes started off at ten. I will continue to watch it for a while and apply gj's patch just for grins.
