I have been watching nodes as they register to inform.php (a good demonstration of why we need to get rid of it), and was amazed to notice that we were getting about one node registering every 10 minutes. Assuming that during the two hour period that I was watching inform.php I saw typical behaviour, that is 6 an hour, 144 a day. Recall that nodes only register themselves once they have been up for 24 hours consecutively so all of these nodes should be reasonably stable.
