This is the best way of doing it, and it would not have to be too difficult. After all the mapping from URI -> Freenet Key is already done in a manner most users don't understand, so adding a layer so that SSK at aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,bbbbbbbbbb/[2001-11-28 00:00]-coolpage maps to SSK at aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,bbbbbbbbbb/3c041af0-coolpage before being mapped to the 23 byte SSK value would not be any different.
