Mine should have been up and running as well, I had it only down for a short maintenaince period. We do need a system where people without CVS can more easily submit their references. Maybe have it mailed to a special e-mail address or submit it on a webform. Then we would check the reference and if OK add it to the seed.ref. Maybe even a cron script which regularly removes the dead references or at least sends an e-mail to their owner or something.
