I have been having problems after bringing my system up and logging in. It appears to hang, so I go into task manager and find that CPU usage is 100% with mqsvc.exe and services.exe each taking 50%. I killed both freenet.exe and fcproxy.exe but nothing changes. Is this something caused by freenet traffic, or if not caused by freenet, is anyone else familiar with this problem?
I am running Win2000 with current updates, on a dual PIII 1.0G, with 256M ram. I connect to the internet via DSL with DHCP. I have a Linksys Cable/DSL router between my computer and DSL modem. Anyone with this experience before, who knows what causes it?
