I've said it before, and I'll say it again: there should be a router function between 0.3 and 0.4, so users of the previous protocol aren't orphaned. Make it optional, so we're not obnoxious to 0.4 users. But if any 0.4 user, out of the goodness of his heart, wants to route between 0.3 and 0.4, he should be able to set a flag, that makes his node listen on two ports, one for each protocol, and route messages between the two.
Separate freenets should not multiply beyond necessity. Connectivity is the whole point of a network. ------------------------------------------------ Please don't flame the newbie.
