I don't think this statement stands on its own. I fail to see how an annoying popup window is "better" than having the information presented inside the browser tab/window that I (the user) have specifically put aside for this purpose. Then again, I may not be a typical Freenet user. I turn off Javascript in my web browers, completely, as my normal state of operation. Or, on the other hand, I might be well within the norm for the Freenet user population. We are, after all, a cantankerous, paranoid bunch.
