Even on my 1900 Amd Freenet gobbels up 10 - 20 % CPU with spikes to 70%. Imagine looking at a DivX flick or playing a game while that happens? It's not very convenient to shutdown freenet everytime I want my CPU for something else, and while I play a DivX there is plenty of cycles for Freenet to use, just not at a high priority. I dont want the priority set to idle though, then Seti at home would eat too much CPU when its running. So BelowNormal is excelent for me, Freenet doesn't interfere while I'm playing a game, and my puter can find aliens on its spare time ;) -- | Are ?rseth | elrond at idi.ntnu.no | http://ctemp.dhs.org/ | | tlf: 73886876 | mob: 410 00548 _______________________________________________ Devl mailing list Devl at freenetproject.org http://lists.freenetproject.org/mailman/listinfo/devl
