What it would need is a flag to FCP to tell it to skip insertation on the local store. It does make sense to me, although as Tavin already pointed out this might simply move the problem issue one hop away. Sebastian P.S. On the second issue of the FNP docs that CofE mentions, I recall weakly that Tavin and agl agreed to do something about it.
