I managed to tweak the FCP tools into compiling on solaris - there is not anything fundamentaly broken with them there at all. For some reason that I am not sure of __EXTENSIONS__ must be defined to get the defs for the structure that dies. Also nanosleep is only in the rt lib, so a good ole -lrt needs to be added as well. I would provide patches but I hacked it up really bad (modified the make files) because I don't know how to get autoconf to do that stuff for me.
